When it comes to Mortal Kombat, I always preferred Scorpion to Sub-Zero. Obviously that wasn’t the case for this Mortal Kombat fan who got this Sub-Zero tattoo from Zoran. I’ve got to say, this is a pretty great looking portrait of a cold-blooded killer.
Go figure, the day I throw on my Space Invaders shirt is the same day these appear in the 3d implant gallery. This photo was taken 68 days after the implants were put in by Andrey Senkin from St. Petersburg.
Lolben knocks it out of the park with his combination Zelda/Dark Crystal torso. Not only is this probably one of the biggest geek pieces I’ve seen, but it’s also really well done. Hats off to Aaron Cooper from Staircase Tattoo in Santa Cruz, CA for this epic masterpiece.
So, true story, I just found out 10 minutes ago that Mario’s Tanooki suit is actually based off of an actual animal. See kids, this is what happens when you grow up without wikipedia. Now this Tanooki suited Mario was done by Chris from Suicide Kings in Canton, MI
I think it was sometime last year when I was talking to someone about getting an entire backpiece of a game of Tetris. It turns out someone had a similar idea, although instead of Tetris, they used Galaga. Pieszeckipower got this tattoo for her father. Her dad used to play Galaga as a teenager, and later on the two bonded over it. Just note, the black isn’t quite finished yet, there is still one more session to clean it up and finish it off.

You know someone is a fan of video games when they get a tattoo of a video game character from a game that isn’t even released yet. Diablo 3 is sure to be a big hit, and this tattoo of the witch doctor by Roger from Star City Tattoo in Roanoke, VA shows us just how excited Diablo fans are for the new game.
I think this tattoo alone fulfills this week’s quota of geekiness. Sagie from Walk the Line in Sweden put needle to flesh to make this cute little guy.
