When I first started hearing the word “biomechanical” in reference to tattooing it almost always referred to H.R. Giger’s art, or work done in a similar fashion. As the years passed biomech started to become more organic and colorful thanks to the influence of tattooist like Guy Aitchison.

As much as I like the colorful stuff, I definitely have a sweet spot for the Giger-ish pieces and I was pretty blown away by this back piece by Adam Collins from Lal Hardy’s Tattoo in London.

Like Phil and his girlfriend Alie, they came to the agreement that if he ran every day she would draw every day. To see Alie’s commitment to  drawing every day check out her blog, I Hate To Draw. To see Phil’s commitment to running, you will need to stalk the street’s of Toronto one morning and look for Phil  yourself  (feel free to snap pictures and email them to me).

Another, and equally effective, way for a couple to work together is with a ball gag. One person speaks, the other submits. Makes perfect sense to me.

This tattoo by Alie sums it up best with the Latin phrase in the banner that translates to “Silence Implies Consent”.

So if you are or ever plan on being a tattooer and you also plan on getting a tattoo of a tattoo machine, make damn sure it is a good one like this one by Randy Polillo of Dynasty Tattoo in Newfield, NJ.

During my year long stint living in Las Vegas I met Cheyne. Of all the tattooed people I have met over the years, he has has one of the more interesting tattoo. His torso is an amazing Japanese style body suit, and his extremities are a collection of randomness, including lots of pop culture tributes. Of his pop culture tattoos, my favorite is this Harry Potter portrait by our mutual friend Mike Demasi.

This is Rev. Matt, he is a long time IAM member and an accomplished tattooist who works out of Seven Crowns Tattoo, in Toronto. I would have never known any of this if it wasn’t for his bitchin’ mustache though. How could I see a ’stache like that, and not have to check out the persons page? I couldn’t, it’s just not possible.

We all have a thing we like to do that may or may not embarrass us if word got out that we did them. Well my thing is watching terrible TV shows on MTV, and it don’t get no worse than this show here. Its like watching a train wreck, its terrible but you can’t peel your eyes away.

In any case, I wanted to talk a little about my favorite “guido” in the house: Pauly D. He has so much going on with him it’ll make your head spin. He has a full arsenal of tattoos, has a penis piercing (although his website doesn’t specify which type) and he may or may not have suspended (in one of the episodes it looks like he is wearing hooks on a chain). That plus some of the other non-permanent modifications like the deep tan, perfect blow out and big oily muscles. This guy has it all!

Now I want to know, since I shared my secret with you, what is your dirty little secret indulgence?

For all the people who have attacked me, for not featuring enough man meat on Modblog, I am proud to present Brian (IAM: perk900).

After we had our initial conversation on Skype, we messaged back and forth a bit on IAM to finalize some things. When I asked him if there was any last minute information he wanted me to include he humbly replied :

“That my dick is huge and that you can see it from space.”

And that my friends, is good enough for me.

Sure, there are  naked pictures on his IAM page, that would make his penis seem not quite visible by space, but until he post erect pictures we will have to assume he is indeed a grower and not a shower.

Little known fact, Brian is the Chuck Norris of BME.

On a serious note, Brian is amongst the nicest and  most genuine people I have ever had the privilege of meeting. He has been a long time active BME member, and a top image contributor since 2003. He has also, busted his ass year after year putting on one of the most fun BME social events, Bowling With Weirdos.

Shawn Porter has this to say about Brian:

So yesterday, I went cruising the BME tattoo galleries looking for potential Modblog features. That’s when I noticed the newest entry in the Biomechanical Tattoo gallery. The only problem was when I looked at the picture I didn’t notice any biomech tattoos, all I could focus on was Ricub’s perfect form. After a few short hours of admiring her, I FINALLY saw the biomechanical tattoo! It’s on her beefcake of a boyfriend, Sick who also happened to be in the picture.

I got to thinking that Ricub MUST be one of the sexiest ladies on BME. Then I thought about Siren and Jasmine and Joli and Jes and Resilent and…..well I could go on all day easily. So starting this evening, every Friday will be BME Girl Friday! I will feature a few of the sexiest ladies BME has to offer and you guys will vote on your favorites! Every month we will have a winner and at the end of the year those 12 sexy ladies will go into a BME Girls calendar!
