Today’s March Mustache Madness entry comes to us from a dapper young gentleman who goes by sxe rob.
Asides from his macho mustache he also has a chest rocker by Cindy Solano at NoKaOi in Philadelphia, 1 3/8″ ears, 12 ga paired lip percings, 12 ga monroe, and 14 ga double nostrils.
My mustache has come and gone but it always makes me happy.
I have known Jared for several years now, a bit before he started onetribe. When he first approached me at one of the old Richmond Suspension Socials with a few pairs of plugs and a dream, I thought he was crazy. I didn’t think it was even possible for one man to compete with the established organic jewelry companies. Well, obviously, he proved me wrong. Not only did he prove me wrong, he did so in an honorable and humble way that deserves recognition. So without further ado, I present to you a few question with jared from onetribe.

In the same basic knowledge all FULL beards have mustaches, yet not every mustache has a full beard.
Yet, for March Mustache Madness on Modblog, I am getting several submissions of Abe Lincoln style jaw beards with NO MUSTACHE.

Now to answer the question everyone’s asking, “what happened to the BME Girls feature?”. Well it turns out we have had some legal issues and can no longer show naked females…….Ok that is total BS. The truth is I had made a mess of my email account with all the submissions and votes and had to get that all straightened out. Also, I am in the process of opening another piercing shop on top of lots of other personal projects none of you care about. However, what a lot of you do care about (as made obvious by the mass amount of messages and emails I received) is seeing gorgeous modified women on a weekly basis. “Did that hurt?”, is the bane of every visibly modified persons existence. However, when asked in a more detailed and honestly inquisitive manner, I don’t mind nearly as much. For instance when another curious tattooed person ask about my head tattoos, I always answer honestly. The right side was excruciatingly painful and the left side was only mildly torturous. So I have much respect for anyone I see with heavy coverage on their head, such as this bright leopard print head tattoo by Ben Riegle, Off the Map, Easthampton,Ma
What can I say? I’m a sucker for a good looking boy standing by some train tracks. It just so happens that Georgio fits the bill. The colour in his tattoos is really eye catching.
As I sit here on the floor with my 3 dogs scattered around me, it only seemed fitting to finally post this picture which has been saved on my desktop for a while now. Me and my dogs are also,damn glad the large gauge piercings are on the man and not on his pets.

I’m going to be busy working on the BETA for BME’s new site to post to Modblog so hopefully the new Modblog contributors can keep up with my previous pace while I’m gone. The Year End Awards will go up on the first so don’t worry about that.
Beaker sent me a link to this video (which unfortunately doesn’t have an embed option) about the Biami tribe that had never had contact with the outside world. They’ve got all sorts of modifications but no cupcakes like our friend Adrian below!
