Oh hey, it’s Nik Santos! Here he is, amusing the local schoolchildren in Grass Valley, California (possibly?) with his comically over-sized 5/8″-inch thick “bull ring from hell,” as he puts it. What’s the best way to win over young Nik? “If you’re straight edge, have mods or get naked,” he says, “we could be friends.” We think he’ll get along juuust fine.

Hoo boy, we are still combing through the thousands (!) of images from last weekend’s inaugural Tattoo Hollywood convention, but there are some gems in there. With three photographers going, we couldn’t be there for every photo (and as such may not be able to give proper artist credits in every shot), but hopefully these at least convey the atmosphere of the weekend. Well hey, it’s BME’s resident knife-wielding maniac, Lunar, proving that, while he may not be the most efficient waiter ever, he suffers for his craft, man. Or, you know, is at least mildly inconvenienced. Also, he’s not actually a waiter. God, this story is full of holes. On the bright side? Those are some healthy looking one-inch lobes, and I get to break out the beloved “Hearty Beards” tag. Everybody wins!

I honestly don’t know what I like most about this photo of BobBert. Is it the great smile? The fancy newsboy cap? The discreet piercings shrouded by glorious facial shrubbery? (And, by extension, the opportunity to use my beloved hearty beards tag?) Maybe the fact that he’s beaming that grin because he’s about to get a Prince Albert piercing?

Up top? That’s Cory, who sends in a set of photos shot by his friend, Brian Gurnee. The train tracks you see are allegedly haunted by The Hookerman, though luckily, neither Cory nor Brian were, what, hooked? Hookered? Either way, glad you’re safe, gents.

Let’s kick things off on this vaunted “Mustache Wednesday” with this shot of Efix (second from right) hanging out with Jay, Nik and Frank, all showing off varying degrees of successful facial hair.
