Back in June we caught a glimpse of Borneoscorpion2008’s impressive thunderbird genital tattoo. Well it turns out that the thunderbird is just one part of a larger suit. I had to do a little blurring, so to see the unblurred version just click through.
It seems that Mr. Borneoscorpion2008 has managed to transform his cock into a massive thunderbird. On top of that, he’s had his legs and groin tattooed to fit in with the theme of his bird, and the result is striking.

Now you’ve got to be asking yourself, what could possibly be so interesting that I’d need to open up my horribly outdated copy of photoshop?
Well, lets put it this way. I couldn’t decide if it counted as a wildlife tattoo or not, but it definitely is some kind of animal.
Rob and I both have made a few post about “beauty over harm” where someone took their self inflicted scars and either reworked them or covered them with a more artistic form of body modification. Yet, there is a whole other category of beauty over harm and that is those people who’s scars were not self inflicted. Often times we see women who have had nipple removal or full mastectomies due to breast cancer enhance there new altered appearance with tattooing. Sometimes it’s cosmetic tattooing to try and recreate what once was there, other times it’s artistic tattooing which takes the body part in a totally different direction than nature ever intended. Either way, it’s empowering to the wearer and something I whole heartedly support and encourage.

Back when it was much warmer I posted some pictures of Alan Macias. At the time, he didn’t have an IAM page and I had nothing to go off of when writing the post except for my take on the pictures. Since that post, Alan has made himself an IAM page.
When I stumbled upon his page his description answered a few of my questions and gave me a bit more insight to his life, but it definitely left me wanting more.
I had a motorcycle accident. I was in the hospital for a year. I had about 40 operations to put me back together. I had nerve damage to my left shoulder, my non-functioning arm had to go. My tattoos are decoration first and then they tell the story of me last. I am not shy about being naked in public because I know everyone is the same and most fear being judged, another word for peer pressure.
After finding him and reading that, I felt obliged to send him a message and see if he wouldn’t mind answering a few questions for me. Luckily for me and the modblog readers, he happily obliged.
