We head down to Australia for the next stop on today’s scarification marathon. This one was done by Joeltron at First Blood. It may be hard to see in the photo, but all of the puzzle lines have been cut, not tattooed.

A while back I posted that Anders was looking for a new studio to work in as he was moving from Australia to Sweden. Well it looks like he was able to find a place for himself at Calm Body Modification in Stockholm, Sweden, as this is the first scar that he’s sent in since the move.

Jake’s no stranger to being ModBlogged, but I think this may be the first time he’s been featured as a BMEBoy. Sure he’s had a lot of scarification work done, and his nipples removed, but that beard/stache combo is what makes this photo so grand. With the holidays coming up, now would be a good time to add him to your wishlists. I mean, who wouldn’t want him keeping you warm on a cold winter’s night.
You know it was only a matter of time before you saw that headline. Every day I wait for the call that the Epic Meal Time guys want to do something Body Modification related and need another beard for the camera, it’s just one province over after all. Of course for BMEpic Meal Time, we don’t use bacon in our bacon strips.

Alright, so here’s the fun part. The 2 horns were done over 2 consecutive days. The day before the first scar, he had two tattoos done on his upper arms. The next day he came in for blackwork tattoos on the rest of his arms. Following that, more scar work, over top of the blackwork, and finally some chest tattoos. I honestly can’t even imagine what that much work done in a small period of time would feel like.

I would have featured this Friday as a follow-up piece, however I couldn’t find any fresh photos of the text portion of the scar. Given how dark and raised the text is, I’m going to assume the star is also going to turn out similar. Even if you’re not a fan of Slipknot, you can still appreciate the scar.
This interesting take on a rose was done by Anders Allinger from Flesh Impressions, located in Broadbeach, Queensland on Australia’s Gold Coast. I say interesting because of how he chose to do the thorny vines on the bottom. Instead of the traditional stem, he opted for an almost tentacle-esque aesthetic.
So bad news folks, there weren’t any healed scars submitted this week, meaning there won’t be a Friday Follow-up today. However, I do have a fresh scar for you from Anders to tide you over until next week. And to all those scarification artists and people walking around with healed scars, send in those photos so we can keep the weekly follow-up posts going!
Now according to Google, this phrase is from a song by Oomph! entitled “Sex hat keine Macht” (Sex has no power), which I’m assuming is a German band. Putting the music reference aside, it is an interesting quote to use scarification as a medium, as anyone who has been scarred knows, bleeding is a part of the process.
