First, yes I know it isn’t a dragon. However, those who have seen old sailing maps will recognize the term as one applied to any uncharted area of the sea that supposedly contains all sorts of monsters.

From this little worm to David Bowie’s codpiece, Labyrinth is a fantastic film filled with amazing images that are just ripe for tattoo material. Jay Wheeler from Eternal in Detroit put together this piece of the worm and one of the door knockers.
Dorothy was always going on about Kansas. How much she loved living on a farm with a lovable cast of characters. That was a long time ago. Nowadays I think she’d rather click her heels together and wish to go to Roanoke, VA, to visit Roger at Star City Tattoo.

It is the end of days. The fate of the world hangs in the balance between the forces of good and evil. The champions have been chosen. Two young boys, innocent prior to being selected, have been imbued with untold powers. When the battle is over, only one shall remain, the victor claiming the fate of the world for his own, the other, dead, and with him all of the power that was given to him.
With the defeat of their champion the losing side will forever be vanquished, never to return, leaving the world forever in the grips of good or evil. Who do you think will win?

As Jen pointed out last week, I may be considered something of a nerd. Well it turns out I must not be much of one as I had no clue what this tattoo was of until I did a search for the word “Modron“. I’m sure there are a couple of Dungeons and Dragons players out there that could explain these things in greater detail, and I’d imagine kmg454 would be one of them, seeing as how this is his tattoo.

Here’s the other photo I mentioned earlier that was sent in by FemaleHumanoid. The focus here is not just on the couple, but also their tattoos. In fact I’d hazard a guess that the point of the photo is to showcase the work, that just happens to be on these two individuals.
