A Prayer for a Droid

Here’s something nice and nerdy to round out today.  Ross Turpin from Star Crossed Tattoo in Hong Kong created this image of C-3PO’s hands paying.  Now my Star Wars-fu isn’t always up to par, but I don’t recall anyone actually praying to the force.  Maybe Droids have their own religion, with Asimov’s laws serving as their commandments.

  1. I kind of know that the droid hands in prayer may offend old people and idiots…. People are going to soon realize that Star Wars is almost a proxy religion in its self now… if gays can marry Droids can have souls… we live in the future now so lets pray it will be fun.

  3. Nice tattoo, although I am with Kara Thrace on this one: “I don’t think the gods answer the prayers of toasters.” … 🙂

  5. Religion yes, deities no.

“Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.”
