Name this album art and win….

Go ahead, impress me. First one to leave a comment saying the correct artist and album that this design is from wins…..nothing. You will get to be a modblog star for a day though, and that my friends is priceless.

One of the rad things about being a modblog author is discovering new artist. I am shocked to find an artist of this caliber who resides in my home state who I have never even heard of. This piece was done by Gabriel Cece at Rocksteady Tattoo in Hampton, VA. This piece is cool and represents an album from one of my favorite bands, but the work on his site is even more impressive. Take a minute to check out his site if you like color blends and soft or non-existant outlines.

  13. I love Faith No More. I was so excited to see this. They are back together in Europe doing a bit of touring. They have said an American tour is very possible, as well as potential for new recorded material!

  14. That was easy! I spent most of 1990 drawing that on my school books / desks etc…

  15. Awesome album, an ‘Epic’ one you may say :)

  16. Yay!

Raskin666: I saw them at Download (UK “heavy music” festival - although it’s actually kind of diverse) last year and…they were good. Sadly I wasn’t hugely amazed but I think I was expecting something different. I only recently started listening to FNM so when I heard they were playing I was excited and got my hopes up for some…Epic performance, but instead I saw FNM live. Which I think is good enough. =]
New recorded material would be nice, and I hope it would be as good as the older stuff.
Oh, I think my experience at Download would have been improved had I been closer to the stage (with a better view of the lovely Mr. Patton…) and had I not eaten greasy chinese noodles and been in the festival toilets for the whole of the first song (one of my favourites, The Real Thing). Sad times, but it was definitely good.
