  1. Isn’t it a sin to get your body marked in memory of someone who is dead?

  2. now THAT is a jebus tatty

  3. OHH MY GOOOD! Like.. I’m not religious.. or well at least not in the christian way, but that whole tatt made me gasp and start wondering if there’s some bloke up there watching over us O.O

It’s so powerfull and so well plased!

  4. im def. not religious at all, but thats amazing art.

  5. I like this way of tatooing!

the Head is really amazing. And i think this ideo to use just skin-colour for parts of the “crown” is really cool.
Ad the shadows in the face! realistic!

  6. I like the hair..
The skin color crown looks awful :(

I do like the way the shiney-ness in the back was done, though.
With the blocks and rectangles instead of like, actual light.
    Neat.

  7. I think there’s a secret OM symbol in the crown

  8. Does anyone see the om symbol on the crown of Jesus’ head? It was the first thing I noticed.

  9. yeh i saw that too

  10. I usually hate religious tattoos but this is gorgeous

  11. Amazing. Beautiful.

  12. Madmax, according to the wearer’s religious beliefs, He’s not dead. :)

  13. Beautiful, such a powerful image - whether you are religious or not, I think.

  14. Holy shit…! Agreeing with almaxaquotal on this one also.

    This is amazing.

  15. One of the best portraits I’ve ever seen.

  16. very nice but the lack of shading on the thorns lets it down a bit

  17. this is a gorgeous tattoo… though the taking of the Lord’s name in vain in the description seems a little distasteful, considering the subject of the tattoo.

  18. wow, you people criticizing this work are picky, picky.

when i first saw this, i thought “holy jesus!” and then laughed at myself.

in all seriousness, i don’t think anybody would dispute the fact that this beautiful and insanely amazing.

  19. Amazing! I love the shading and the placement. Also like how it accents the other tattoos - especially the left arm tribal/black work; it flows with the thorns. Nicely done!

  20. Nice. wonder what he will do when he finds its all a myth….

  21. Jesus Christ!!!

    -(I couldn’t help it)

  22. I wonder what Speedoape will do when he/she finds out their opinions are obnoxious

  23. What an amazing piece of work, bravo to the artist he should definalty take a bow!

  24. #21 BURN!!! oh wait that was on me. N/m

  25. fiiiiiinally, a jesus tattoo that doesn’t look like shit.
granted, I’m not a fan of worshiping the guy, but at least the owner of this had the common decency to not embarrass his god with hideous artwork. 15 points.

  26. well hes going to hell.

  27. Holy jeebus that is INSANE. I always wonder what jesus would think of his face being tattooed on people all over the place, or how most super religious feel about it.

  28. Also, does anyone else get a mythology/posiedon vibe to this piece..It looks very classical greek in its presentation, i believe thats why i like it so much.

  29. #26 - sweet, I’ll have someone else there to have fun with ;)

  30. I totallyyyy agree with anamorphic. But other then that it’s a beautiful tattoo. Every time I look at it my heart starts beating a lil faster, it’s breath taking.

  31. its all very nice, except the thorns really let it down.

  32. jesus didn’t have any tattoos

  33. sick tat tho

  34. #32 - Actually, not according to the Bible

    Revelation 19:16 (King James Version)

    16. And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

Saying he had his title written on his robe and his thigh. First time I heard that, it sounded like a boxing champion.

  35. haha yo Jesus was a boxing champion!

  36. Great work, excellent use of negative space. Crazy delicious.
