I’ve got a lot of other things I have to do this upcoming week a so I’m not sure if I’m going to be able to do a ton of posting here on ModBlog (but watch the BME/encyclopedia and BME of course). That said, you know I can’t stop myself from posting so who knows…

I did want to again post about ModProm and BMEfest (July 1, 2007). The BBQ during the day is free, but if you’d like to come to the formal evening event (which is really the fun part in my opinion), you can get your ModProm ticket here (and you’ll get the shirt in the mail immediately). These great God/Goddess tattoos were done on Victor by Augustine at Insane Skin Art in Singapore (which feels to me like it’s growing to be a new Eastern mecca of body modification — so many wonderful BME submissions have been coming in from Singapore lately).

I love explicit tattoos! This Japanese-style oozing vulva is by Jason Ackerman (jasonackerman.net) at Lucky 7 Tattoo in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Samoan Pineapple already had a moko-style scarification (you can see the ridges and scarlines in the photos if you look carefully), and he recently had his entire face outlined by Justin Vickers at Golden Apple Studios in Austin, Texas.

Here’s how it looks now in it’s outlined state — I can’t wait to see it finished, it’s really gorgeous. I wish I could have made it to APP this year and seen it (and everyone) in person.

I quite like the placement of these six 10ga rib surface piercings, but I worry they’ll be difficult healing. That said, her sub-clavical piercings (more about sub-clavical piercings) are a year old in this shot, so I’m sure she knows what she’s got herself into!
