It’s called a "grenape"
By Shannon • Dec 20th, 2006 • Category: ModBlogAlright, admittedly I posted Lucky yesterday as well, and admittedly I’m posting another photo of her tomorrow, but I think all of the pictures are very different in style and subject so it’s not too obsessive or anything. Her grenade nape — a coverup of her first tattoo — is by Andrew Mac at Chapel Tattoo in Melbourne.

nice, really nice.
That’s pretty cool. It looks like it’s actually raised up from her skin.
SA forum goon?
Whenever I know something is a coverup it always drives me nuts wondering what the original was.
That’s awesome, and somehow unnerving. I think my mind is intuitively going “aah, get that dangerous thing off your neck before it explodes!”
I’m not sure why, because I’ve seen tattoos of grenades before and they don’t make me react that way. Maybe it’s just how three-dimensional it looks.
ahh, she’s fantastic!
imagine her in front of a little kid in the airport, “Mommy she has a gernade on her neck!”
granape….clever.
i bet she just throws herself at the opposition!
that is a heaps good coverup, i still liked the original tho!
Nice
